What is the capital band?

Since 1.1.2023, the board of directors has the authority through the capital band to increase or decrease the share capital at will within a maximum period of five years.

In doing so, the registered nominal share capital may be increased or reduced by no more than half, whereby the legally prescribed equity capital (CHF 100’000 for joint-stock companies and CHF 20’000 for limited liability companies) may not be undercut.
