Subsequent tenants are usually reasonable

The suitability of a subsequent tenant is given if he or she is solvent and reasonable. A foreign nationality and the status as asylum seeker do not in themselves lead to unacceptability as a new tenant. On the other hand, social services must guarantee the rent payments and the rent deposit for social assistance recipients by means of a cost guarantee. A separation or an imminent divorce is also not a reason for unreasonableness if the rent is low and the minimum subsistence level remains, even if maintenance payments have to be made.
