Publication in the official gazette counts as notification

If a taxpayer does not provide an address for service in Switzerland or does not appoint a representative, rulings and decisions may be served on them by publication in the Official Gazette. The date of publication is deemed to be the date of service. (Source: BGE 9C_651/2024 of 17.12.2024)
