Online registration procedure for short-term employment

Swiss employers and foreign service providers can now use the EasyGov platform to process the notification procedure for short-term employment of workers from the EU/EFTA.

As an alternative to this procedure, the 120-day permit for EU/EFTA and third-country nationals can be applied for and allows multiple entries and exits to Switzerland. This type of permit is often used for longer project assignments. It is a work permit that must be applied for from the competent cantonal authority. The authorisation process is more demanding, as all admission requirements under the Foreign Nationals and Integration Act must be met in full.
