Indecent dismissals are not abusive

The Federal Supreme Court had to deal with the question of whether it was abusive to dismiss an employee after the company had assured him that it would not dismiss him.

 

The court ruled that indecent, undignified behavior on the part of the employer was not enough for a dismissal to be abusive. It was not the task of the legal system to sanction indecent behavior. (Source: BGE 4A_157/2022 of 5.8.2022)
