Gifts in the new inheritance law

Under the new inheritance law, the testator is prohibited from making gifts of his or her inheritance after concluding an inheritance contract. If he or she wishes to make gifts during his or her lifetime that go beyond customary occasional gifts, a reservation must be made in the inheritance contract.
